	Website prototyping and copywriting I worked with insurance portal donatesomeback.com to develop a functional website prototype for the company’s launch in 2009. This new venture needed to create a working web presence, tied into an insurance quotation engine, with limited capital, in just four weeks. 	Optimised web copy I wrote optimised copy for tens of BT Global Services business needs pages in a very short timescale. The large volume of source information, restrictive design template, short timescale and somewhat fluid nature of the propositions being sold made this a particularly satisfying challenge to rise to. 	Intranet development – internal sales site I helped BT’s global sourcing team transform its intranet presence, and significantly improve take-up of its shared services among BT account teams. Working with in-house design and web teams, I deconstructed and rebuilt a complex existing website; created a new design and navigation concept; and optimised and rewrote all page content. 	Optimised web copy: proposition summaries I wrote a number of summaries for IBM UK’s public sector industry pages, based on a large volume of source documents, in a very short timescale.	[nggallery id=13]
	Navigation and copywriting I designed the navigation and wrote all copy for Retail-Hosting, a b2b commerce hosting venture launched in 2007. The site was conceived as a simple online brochure for the company’s services, which would primarily be marketed to SME retail clients of its parent company, Maginus.	[nggallery id=14]
	Content management & SEO I handle content management and basic SEO functions for Chestnut Cat Sanctuary. Today, nearly three quarters of people adopting cats find their new pets through the website, thanks to substantial improvements in organic search rankings.	[nggallery id=15]
